- The Cambridge Trusts administer a large variety of awards for nationals of a number of countries. Recommended for all overseas and EU students
- The Gates Cambridge Scholarships
- The UK Research Councils: UK students and EU students who comply with residency criteria may be able to apply for funding from a Research Council

Private Loans for UK Graduate Students
Private loans are now available for UK residents for October 2006 entry. Students may borrow an annual amount of between £1,000 and the full yearly cost of attendance. For 2006-07, the University has agreed to administer these loans, for graduate students only i.e. not undergraduates (even if mature students) nor for PGCE, Clinical Medical or Veterinary students, through the Board of Graduate Studies.
Please note that under the Consumer Credit Act (1974) the University may not advise any student to take out a loan nor to direct them to any particular lender. For further details please refer to the BGS website:
